Meet the Teacher
Home Drumming Academy is founded by Frailan Moran Mendive, a professional percussionist, educator, and creative entrepreneur with international teaching and performance experience.
Originally from Cuba, Frailan studied at the National School of Music in Havana, where he later also taught percussion. He later lived and worked in Dublin, teaching percussion for many years, and is now based in Vienna.
His teaching approach combines musical experience, discipline, structured practice, and a strong belief that students progress best when they are guided with clarity, encouragement, and purpose.
As a percussion instructor, he works as a mentor, trainer, and guide who helps students develop rhythmic skills, technique, musicality, confidence, discipline, and performance ability through structured practice, personalized feedback, motivation, and goal-setting.
